Hello!
its already December! so its been 3 months of my last trip to Vietnam & Cambodia.
this trip took 5 days & so this is how our trip goes
KLIA2 -> Ho Chi Minh -> Phnom Penh -> Siem Reap -> KLIA2
Ticket
KLIA to HCM : RM100
Siem Reap to KLIA: RM400
Money Exchange: RM1000
Vietnam: RM200 (VND)
Cambodia: RM800 (USD)
Hostel
1. 96 Bui Vien (HCM, Vietnam): USD 42 (2 nights,1 room,3 bed)
2. Boutique Dormitory Kochi -Ke (Siem Reap, Cambodia): USD 15 (1 night, mix dorm)
DAY 1
Flight is at 730am. and then sampai je dekat airport cari taxi warna hijau. bayar dalam 120.00VND cmtu untuk bawak kitrg ke hostel (96 Guest House) dekat Pham Ngu Lao, District 1.
and then lepas check in we went to the famous place in Ho Chi Minh, Ben Thanh Market. Haa dekat Ben Thanh market ni la kalau korang nak cari the cheapest kain, tudung dan sebagainya dekat sini. But the seller are really annoying because they will try to touch you and even tarik tangan kita untuk suruh tgk barang dia and then will force you to buy their stuff. and most of them can speak Malay LOL. so kuatkan la iman anda untuk tidak terpengaruh. lololols!
and then next kiteorg pergi lunch at Malaysian food restaurant *cant remember the name of this restaurant*. Makanan mahal but worth the price because portion gila banyak. Makan nasi putih paprik around RM30 cmtu.
next we went to Saigon Sentral Post Office near to Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica. Souvenirs pon ada jual sini.
disebabkan cuaca dekat Ho Chi Minh ni super panass dan bahang jadinya around this time 230pm cmtu kiterog pon singgah ke Saigon Square (ada aircond lol). Tak ramai orang pon. maybe weekdays or maybe orang bertaraf standard aje yang pi mall. not sure. lol. Harga lebih kurang dekat Malaysia juga.
and then we walking around the town (kalau naik taxi mahal dan menipu) searching for the package tour to Mekong Delta. So terpaksa la rajinkan diri cari the best package yang murah and the most important thing is to know how to bargain. Seriously dekat Vietnam senang sangat nak bargain harga. hehe. So at last we found this Package yang murah. Harga 200.000 VND and then beli ticket bas ke Phnom Penh dalam $10. FYI, cant remember of this package tour ni dari mana. sorry!
after that balik hostel, had dinner and went to Ben Thanh night market. Boleh bargain harga dekat sini tapi as you bargain kena la beliii nanti tak beliii memang penjual dia akan marah lol and then after that we decided to go for foot spa. Saje urut2 kaki sebab one whole day asyik berjalan and then as we walking dekat Pham Ngu Lao akan ada la minah2 yang akan datang bagi brochure package foot spa la apa la and then we went to this foot spa at Sin Viet. Murah je. only 2$ pastu nak kasi kilat tambah 1$ je.
DAY 2
Subuh dekat Vietnam is around 5am cmtu. So hari tu terbangun pukul 6am lebih cmtu dah cerah lol. So around pkl 7am cmtu siap2, dalam pukul 8am cmtu akan ada bas package tour datang dekat hostel and dia akan kumpulkan semua org baru la bertolak. so around 830am cmtu we head to Mekong Delta took around 3 hours juga la dari bandar Ho Chi Minh.

So on the the way to dia akan drop dekat 1 kedai ni. Kedai ni ada hammock all around. so boleh la lepas makan baring and lepak2. So lepak situ dalam sejam lebih and continue journey to Mekong Delta.
Nothing much interesting on this part becauseeee... sampai2 je naik sampan and then perjalanan dia agak lama dan boring tapi at the same time orang tu akan explain la which part yang orang kampung berfloating market, mana tempat letak jerat untuk tangkap ikann dan sebagainya.
Sampai la satu tempat ni diorang akan tunjuk process membuat biskut gula, air tuak (similar macam Sabah & Sarawak) and then after that we went for cycling dalam 10 minit cmtu. and had our lunch.
so around 4pm cmtu selesai la tour. Sampai Ho Chi Minh around 7pm.
Next kiteorg pon pulang ke hostel mandi2 rehat kejap and then we went to dinner at Baba's Kitchen and beli souvenirs since its the last day in HCM.
DAY 3
Check - out hostel and Bas ke Phnom Penh pon dtg pickup dekat Hostel. It took 6 hours from HCM to Phnom Penh. Bas dalam pukul 9am sampai Phnom Penh station bas dalam pukul 2.44pm.
The view really breath taking time otw Phnom Penh tu, paddy field along the way.
So sampai je dekat PP, we met one of the Phnom Penh Friend (A friend's friend of mine) and naik Tuk -Tuk, we had lunch lepastu went to Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. Museum ni dulu tempat sekolah dimana telah ditukar ke penjara dan orang2 nya diseksa dengan sangat kejam (kalau tengok gambar tak sangup tgk T-T) dan mayatnya ditanam di Killing Field.
so lepas Tuol Sleng kitrg pon pergi jalan2 jap dekat Phnom Penh tu.
lepastu berangkat ke kampung Romli (our Phnom Penh friend).
Lepas dah dinner we head to our bus (Giant Ibis) ke Siem Reap! (USD 15) well.. another 6 hours journey to Siem Reap and to be truth this is the best experience sebab bas ni bas katil & ada wifi. laju pulak tu. so comfortable. sambil baring boleh tgk pemandangan di luar. Sangat gelap. but still u can see the night view. :)
so around 7am, kiteorg pon sampi di Siem Reap! (total journey to Siem Reap 12 hours)
DAY 4
weehoo nothing beat the excitement bila dah dekat Siem Reap. Sampai2 je Tuk -Tuk dah ada untuk pickup kiteorg sbb Tuk-Tuk yg dekat Phnom Penh tu bagi contact number Tuk-Tuk dekat Siem Reap dan orangnya boleh bercakap bahasa melayu okay. Yang driver Tuk-Tuk dekat Phnom Penh also can speak Malay okay. Dah rasa macam dekat Malaysia pulak LOL.
So naik Tuk-Tuk ke Hostel kiterg (Boutique Dormitory Kochi-Ke) lawaaaaa gila hostel ni. but too bad bilik kitrg dorm guna kipas je. Masa on the day we arrived, petang magrib cmtu boleh pulak black out lol. Dalam Sejam lebih baru ada electric. -_-'
Lepas check in kitrg pon siap2 dan pergi break fast di Muslim Family Kitchen and terus head ke Angkor Wat. Seriously you need to bring mineral water. Cuaca panas dan berdebu dan confirm akan haus punya. Nasib baik our driver Tuk-Tuk sediakan mineral water for us.phewww! (even ada bawak botol air sendiri tapi tak cukup lol)
so basically Angkor Wat ada banyak Temple. Ada 12 Temple. Fee dia $20. Besar dan serious kitrg pon ada skip a few temple because letih dan cuaca panas dan bahang. Lepas je Angkor Wat lunch dekat Wau Restaurant (Malaysia & Cambodia.) dapat la try makanan local orang Cambodia tapi halal. :)
so dlm petang cmtu we went to war museum. didnt take any picture of it :(
masa malam tu we went search for sourvenir at this place near Pub street. dapat la Keychain and purse.
so malam di Cambodia was so so jela. went to this live band cafe. lepak minum and dengar org nyanyi. lepastu around 12pm dah start takde apa. lol.
DAY 5
so early in the morning lepas breakfast kami pon pergi ke sungai Tonle Sap. haaa Sejarah niiiii Tonle Sap. Dulu baca buku sejarah tengok gambar je. Macam tak percaya dapat pergi and rasa suasana di Tonle Sap!
